Laser Mirrors

COE Optics' laser mirrors include CO2 laser mirrors, Er: YAG lasers, Near IR, Far IR, Quantum Cascade Lasers (QCL), Phase Retarding CO2 Mirrors and High Power Fiber Lasers.

Laser Mirrors are used to reflect or redirect laser beams in laser applications such as beam steering or beam folding. Laser Mirrors are designed with a high degree of reflectivity, i.e. 99.9% reflection, for a specific wavelength or range of wavelengths using various substrates, coatings, or a combination of the two.

Our standard dielectric mirrors utilize Borofloat 33 or fused silica, the most common and excellent general-purpose substrates. When high thermal stability is required, Zerodur mirror substrates should be considered because of their nearly zero coefficient of thermal expansion. And for the most demanding Nd:YAG and Excimer laser applications, mirrors with UV fused silica substrates and ultra-hard dielectric coatings have been designed specifically with high damage thresholds.

Laser Line Mirrors are ideal for laser applications where space is limited, as a beam can be precisely directed multiple times to fit within a particular area.

Laser line dielectric mirrors are highly efficient reflectors optimized for a narrow wavelength range. They offer greater than 99% reflectance, from 0° to 45° angle of incidence, for any polarization. Their coatings are very ultra-hard dielectric coatings, making them easier to clean repeatedly and more resistant to laser damage.
