Sapphire Piston
Pistons are a perishable part of the HPLC pump. They should be replaced on a regular basis as a part of its preventative maintenance. Sapphire piston should also be inspected every six months and replaced yearly or as needed to ensure top performance and avoid unforeseen downtime. These pistons are popularly used as they give excellent concentricity and wear resistance. Each sapphire rod is precisely cut in respect to the crystal lattice grain, resulting in maximum breakage resistance and outstanding wear characteristics. The rod is attached to the piston ferrule using a patented method that ensures concentricity. Sapphire piston also has maximum resistance to breakage and superior wear characteristics
Sapphire Lens
Sapphire crystal is a great substrate for a variety of challenging applications. It has a high transmission range of 150nm to around 5m, which makes it ideal for UV, Visible, and IR applications. The mechanical strength and hardness of sapphire lenses are exceptional.
Sapphire is the best medium for spherical lenses that require a broad spectrum of light transmission and high optical clarity, particularly in demanding applications such as laser systems or working in harsh environments.
Sapphire lens is an excellent choice for lens applications due to its excellent thermal and chemical resistance as well as its scratch resistance.
Extremely hard and resistant to attack
Highly resistant to scratching and abrasion
High melting temperature
Fit the applications in extreme conditions, such as high-pressure, vacuum and corrosive atmosphere.
